Find Your Way
by Ezell Cook Jr. on 07/08/11
Have you ever heard the saying that some things have to be experienced because there are no words to do them justice? I think this is why parables and poetry mean so much to artist and spiritual seekers alike. It is another way of realizing that secrets are revealed to us when we are in a certain vibration or frame of mind to receive. Can you remember when a friend tried to tell you a story about an exciting experience they had, only to be left hanging as to what the big deal was when they finished the story? Often the short answer of it is, “I guess you had to be there”. The strange thing is that sometimes a certain experience later in your life will bring clarity about your friend’s story and you will get the full meaning. It is also like this with seemingly esoteric writing, but a phrase that came to me while writing a letter years ago, keeps me on track when I am digging for secrets.
“Mysterious truths may be found in strange context. Let us not betray the truth for the sole discrimination of the company or ranks of words in which the truth decides to expose itself.”
If you have ever been made to feel small, like you didn’t
matter? If someone purposely held you in a space that does not fit your spirit
at all, then I want you to know that there is greatness in you waiting to
explode! It has always been there just waiting for you to tap into your
reserves and make use of it. You may not find it the same way as others find
theirs but begin your quest and open the doors that have kept you in bondage. It
will be your experience done your way. Follow your heart and you will find your
path, and if your heart says let’s take a few detours don’t worry, those lessons
were factored in. I know you have heard it before, when you know better, you do
better!
Peace Be With You,
